Mardline (Mardi C) Prevot, born Mardline (Mardi C) Cadet Prevot in Washington, D.C., is an Afro-Haitian non-binary visual artist, advertising design student, burgeoning entrepreneur, debut creative producer, and advocate. Currently pursuing their studies at Bowie State University, Mardi is a dedicated student and advocate, utilizing their creative talents and leadership skills to make a significant impact.
Driven by their commitment to breaking barriers in the design industry as a Black, queer creator and entrepreneur, Mardi is a first-generation college student who has earned several prestigious scholarships and accolades. They are a 2021 United Negro College Fund Target Scholar Alumni, Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) program participant Alumni and have been awarded a 2021 United Negro College Fund Target Scholarship, the BSU Don S. Goodloe Distinguished Merit Scholarship at Bowie State University, TMCF BlackRock 2024-2025 Scholarship, a TMCF 2025-2026 Altria HBCU Scholarship.
As the CEO of both Mazopal Design (@mazopal_design) and the newly inspired MC Studios, Mardi channels their passion for visual storytelling into innovative digital designs, brand identity projects, mock-up layouts, and advertising illustrations.

Mardi's accomplishments are extensive and diverse, showcasing their commitment to excellence and leadership. They are an Adobe Student Ambassador, serving as a student leader of the Adobe Student Ambassador Program and a key collaborator with Adobe for Education. Their advocacy has been featured on the Essence Platform for Gen Z (Girls United), highlighting their insights on Caribbean culture and representation, HBCU Universe 30 under 30 Honoree of the selected Arts, Media and Culture category. They are also a member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society (@axalphachi). Their academic achievements include recognition on the Dean's List for the Spring Semesters of 2022 and 2024, and they are a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success. Mardi is an alumna of the HBCU Founder Initiative Spring 2024 Cohort.

Mardi is a creative collaborator and brand partner, working as a Black advertiser collaborator. They are a videographer/editor and camera operator, notably for the inaugural Mr. Adobe and Ms. Adobe Ambassadors at Bowie State University. Their film work includes features in the short films "The Feels" and "Who Killed Mr. Mathews," and they debuted as the producer of "The Ra's Series."
A Gen Z networker, melomaniac, and old soul with Afro-Haitian roots, Mardi brings a unique perspective and passion to amplifying diverse voices. From exploring the Harlem Renaissance and Negritude to creating impactful visual projects, Mardi's journey is one of cultural exploration and artistic expression. Inspired by brands like Adobe, Under Armour, Starter Z, True Religion, and Fila, they've currently install their senior showcase work titled; "Ayiti Nou La: Tarot Card Series, is a profound and poignant collection of 7 hand-crafted cards dedicated to the families who suffered loss following Hurricane Melissa. More than a tool for divination, this special series serves as a deep, personal journey into the soul of the Haitian people, paying powerful homage to the Racine tradition—a vibrant cultural and musical movement that personifies Haiti's unwavering resilience and enduring spirit. Each card is a potent window connecting the user to Haitian roots, a global legacy of strength, profound spirituality, and breathtaking artistic brilliance. Use this series to draw inspiration, reflect on your inner fortitude, and connect with the powerful, enduring impact of this rich heritage.
